Makenna Studio is a joyful, made-to-order label based in sunny Singapore.
I design clothes that are colourful, comfortable, and full of personality — pieces that make you smile the moment you set your eyes on then.
Each garment is thoughtfully designed and made to order, using natural fabrics and special finds like bespoke prints, deadstock, and repurposed materials. Nothing is rushed, nothing is mass-produced. Every piece is made just for you.
I believe clothes should feel good on real bodies and fit into real lives. That’s why Makenna pieces are easy to wear, adjustable where it matters, and designed to be loved again and again.

![When I first put this fabric together, I thought I knew every little detail in it.
Then I spotted a smiling snail I hadn't noticed before.
The next time, it was a tiny snail tucked between the flowers. Another day, a moth. Then a raccoon peeking out from the leaves.
That's why I named these collection **Many Stories Tell a Tale**. Every time someone wear it, it feels like you are discovering it all over again.
And perhaps my favourite part? There is only one of each. Once she's gone, she's gone, and the stories she carries belong to just one person.

![As I get older, I find myself shopping very differently.
I no longer buy a dress just because it was a good deal or because it looked nice in the moment. Space is precious in my wardrobe now — so if something enters it, it has to feel truly special.
